Murder in Eagle Rocking house shocks Idaho Falls

Waldo A Schlag, about 35, six feet tall, was killed with a small axe at the Eagle Tock rooming house in Idaho Falls. A second man, who accompanied Schlag, fled and is described to officers. Schlag had ties to Montana and Columbus Ohio, with recent deposits and bank notes tied to Helena and Dillon institutions. Special dispatches note Schlag had recent dealings with the Union Bank and Trust of Helena.

Supreme Court limits Interstate Commerce Commission inquiries
