Prohibition enforcement officers warn planes will be needed to patrol the border as liquor is said to be moved from Canada by air. Reports from Livingston note whiskey-bearing planes landing near the town while sheriffs seek county planes. Observers say a nationwide patrol is required since smugglers can fly across borders, lakes, and rivers. Local tips claim more deputies and pursuit cars would help, and residents observe a shifting mood as information about stills and bootlegging surfaces from wives and workers alike.
