British Treasury Prepares for Silver Shortage in London
The British treasury via the Bank of England plans to print extra 5 shilling notes to avert a silver hoarding shortage requiring parliamentary approval. A separate obituary notice expresses gratitude for flowers and support after the death of Elizabeth Thompson, with funeral arrangements for W. J. Jevens noted by the Peace and lodge members.
