The document, addressed to YPSL comrade secretaries and signed as William F. Kruse, urged concealment and use of substitute names, including an athletic or dramatic group, and warned against readable distribution at league meetings. A second letter, purportedly from William B Dillon, urged New Mexico socialists to refuse to fight.
