In Butte county court Judge Jackson ruled that Dr C Y Norcross and W B Bradford must pay 600 forfeit bonds tied to C F Seitz who fled after forgery charges. The county attorney pursued the bondsmen for the amount and the state estate of James Mellovern saw a 50 000 cash distribution to heirs per the will’s instructions.
Jack Susser alleges his Ford collided with Abe Delavage’s Cadillac outside the Finlen hotel on August 30. He seeks 400 damages for the car and 15,800 for injuries to his four year old daughter Mary. Judge Jackson appoints Susser guardian for the suit. William Gleason, with Delonge’s consent, drove the Cadillac at about 30 mph. Susser says daughter was thrown to the pavement and incurred 500 in medical bills. Attorneys N A Rotering and William Meyer represent Susser.
