Anaconda Youth Will Walk Again
Emmet Logan may walk again after his brother Egan donated a large graft of flesh to cover Emmet’s injured foot. Surgeons at St Ann’s Hospital removed the cast and separated the brothers after a twelve day grafting process that joined Egan’s thigh flesh to Emmet’s sole. The accident occurred when Emmet’s foot was severed by a moving train, and the brothers endured extended immobilization while the graft healed.
