Butte Boy Brags of Invisible Ace Letter to Crook Ally
A former Butte youth now in Chicago writes a boastful letter claiming contact with the "Invisible Ace," the world's greatest crook, and outlines plans for a major robbery in a distant city. He asks for a pistol and money to cover express charges, warns the recipient to keep quiet, and hints at travel to London and South America as possible future stops while in contact with other criminals. The letter is in police hands for assessment of brag or genuine plans.
