Completion of Two Degrees at Butte Shrine Gathering
The Scottish Rite of Free Masonry in Butte is to confer the thirty-first and thirty-second degrees at the Butte valley with Ernest Schwefel directing the work. Yesterday's ceremonies drew many candidates from Butte and beyond, followed by a banquet and speeches by E. C. Day and other notable Masons. Attendees include G. Fleming Moore’s successor John I. Cowles and several local lodge members as officers and honorees.
