A second grand larceny case involved Joe Cameron accused of stealing a brown mare valued at 50 dollars from John Cane. he was discharged after prosecutors failed to bind over. A puppy theft case against Dr J W May was dismissed at prosecutors' request.

Queer claim of property in police court disturbance case
J J Ross a colored man was tried for disturbance of the peace at Judge Boyle's police court on South Arizona street. He admitted making a racket and kicking dishes but claimed ownership of the boarding house and its contents. Judge Bosle found him guilty and fined $10. Mamie Suprenant, a boarder, was jailed earlier. the case revealed prior arrangements between her and the owner.
