Dan McKelvey longtime gate tender at the Anaconda smelter died after a long illness. He was 68 and lived in Anaconda for nearly 40 years. He was known to thousands of workers at the plant. LAVIS 15 fined $10 on interference charge
One case heard in Anaconda police court yesterday afternoon. William Red Lavis pleaded guilty to interfering with an officer and was fined $10 by Judge Murphy. Lavis was arrested with Phil Jacques after a rough house with three officers Tuesday afternoon. The complaint says Lavis interfered with Officer Campbell while on duty. TURKES I LATEST FOWL.
