Police Court session yields mixed results for offenders
In a police court proceeding Judge McGowan dismissed several charges and released others after brief trials. A visitor robbery charge against a woman named Luklis led to her being held to answer. the male defendant did not appear and his bond was forfeited. A broken window case against De Marezy was dismissed and replaced with a vagrancy charge. A watchman, Cunnore, was discharged for disturbance. Steve Sullivan and Oscar Holmes faced vagrancy and firearms-related questions but were released with advice to seek real employment. Two drunk defendants received light penalties.
