Soviet emissaries warn of war after London departure
Soviet delegates Leo Kameneff and Leonid Krassin told Universal Service they leave London by order of Moscow. They say the exit amounts to a declaration of war on Great Britain and foresee destruction of the British empire in the East as the Soviets prepare renewed offensives. Kameneff predicts India could be reached via Persia and Afghanistan if Britain aids Poland with navy or munitions. The pair criticize Lloyd George’s policy shifts and assert Russia will not peace with Warsaw on terms that risk its western flank.
