Sheriff O'Keefe jailed John Heese a smooth talking man who posed as Roberts & Reese wholesale grocers from Seattle. He sold groceries at 30 percent off and required in advance deposits to fool residents. Several names appeared in his order book before a local woman raised suspicions and led to his capture. Seattle police later denied any such firm existed.

Assistant Chief Thomas Brien arrested a burglar at H. G. Coy's hardware store on East Park avenue after catching him in the act of rifling the premises. The 39 year old suspect, identified as Slavin, resisted but was captured and jailed. owner Mr. Coy reported no thefts found.

The plan raises each club to 26 games with B M seven, Anaconda six, and A C M five games to finish.
