Helena August 28 Governor Toole commuted the 40 year highway robbery sentence of Henry Clark to four months more to be released December 24. Clark was convicted in Lewis and Clarke county October 19, 1891 and held in the penitentiary. The case featured a girl in boy's clothes named Helen Forslund later revealed as Birdie Miller. The highwayman’s capture stemmed from a note to Clark and a sequence of robberies across Anaconda Butte and Helena.
