Dillon talks of Grand Forks plant visit in Anaconda
Granby smelter foreman John J. Dillon, formerly of Anaconda, visits the city to discuss British Columbia ore versus Montana ore. He notes Granby ore is low grade yet profitable as self fluxing, with about 84 percent copper recovery, and mentions a new Granby Bay plant near the Alaska line to cut transport costs. Dillon hints at a possible sudden departure.
