County pays car bill after year long dispute
After more than a year of dispute over the purchase of an automobile, the county commissioners paid Butte Buick company 1799.50 plus 8.70 costs. Attorney general S. C. Ford advised payment, saying the county was justified and the supreme court would likely dismiss the motion. The car was bought March 6, 1919, used briefly, and the district court ruled for the company on price but not interest. The county auditor had opposed the bill.
