Butte Council Awards Bids On Fire Hose And Sewer Pipe
Butte city council awarded bids for 1 500 feet of fire hose and several sewer pipes. Anaconda Supply won fire hose at 81 1/2 cents per foot. Spokane Concrete Pipe was set to deliver 1 015 feet of 36 inch sewer pipe for 3 857 dollars, and Butte Sewer Pipe and Tile Co. secured 700 ft of 8 in, 600 ft of 12 in, and 170 ft of 24 in pipe totaling 707.50 dollars. Other votes approved a wig wag safety device request, curb repairs, and light and extension projects, with committee referrals and timing noted.
