Washington April 1 Robert Lan Fing was sworn in as the successor to Jon Bawsutl Moore and will rank next to Secretary Bryan. Mrs Geof frey Latitier of 192 North Alabama street received word yesterday that her father John Foster of Cotntite Kip suffered a stroke and is in critical condition. Foster, a pioneer of the state, lived in Butte and owned the Windsor hotel in earlier years. He was widely known in the city where his last visit occurred over a year ago. His wife preceded him in death and his daughter was married to William Clark Jr. Foster had long been connected with local business interests before his retirement.
