Semmons Car Accident Near John Coontz Farm
S W Semmons had a Sunday pleasure ride in a Mitchell car with J F Cagwin and Mr and Mrs M Hullibarger. Attempting a turn near the John Coontz farm the vehicle tipped onto its side. Mrs Hullibarger sustained bruises and scratches on her left arm shoulder and face while the others escaped unharmed. Mr Ringheim of Nevada aided the pair to town for treatment. the car was badly damaged but drivable home.

Runaway Buggy Injures Two Women at Chautauqua Park

Two Ames graduates from the I. S. C. class of 1910, F. B. Johnson and M. E. B. Van Meter, suffered serious injuries at the Schnectaday New York General Electric plant last week. Johnson suffered a crushed leg after being caught in a belt. Van Meter burned on hand and arm from an arc light flame after a switch short circuited.
