Death of Alba Hall of Ames Iowa Civil War Veteran
Alba Hall born May 11 182 died Oct 10 189% at his Ames home. He married Miss Mary Spaulding April 24 1853 in Wheeling. They moved to Iowa in 1855 and 1868 and to Ames in 1892. Five of eight children survive. Hall served in Co K 32nd Iowa, discharged 1865. Funeral in Arcadia Lodge and Ellsworth G A R escort. buried near his wife in Nevada.
