Permanent County Highway Funds Allocated by Board
The Nevada Commercial Club and Ames officials joined the Nevada county board of supervisors to discuss permanent highways. After review the board unanimously approved an appropriation of eight thousand dollars from the road fund to improve the public highway extending through Marshall County.

A Department of Agricultural Engineering course on silo construction will run June 3 to June 7 and be the first of its kind in Iowa. It will cover hollow block, masonry, and wood silos, aimed at farmers and builders to meet surging demand.
