Rev Conrad officiated. Shutes gave a reception in Kelley.

Duck hunters shoot low along river in local area
Duck hunters are shooting too low to bring down many ducks along the river. Persons delaying garden plans last Monday are not in a hurry now. M Gettrell bought cattle from H Nowlin to summer for profit. Frank Stevens shipped a carload of hogs to Chicago. He aims to avoid Greeleys nephew. Sasac Kelley moved to Elliott race in Washington township and Ames Robertson and wife started housekeeping on the Kelly farm.

Death of Mrs Brouchard Near Ames and Church Funeral
Mrs. H. F. Brouchard died at her home three miles south of Ames on Friday morning from pneumonia after a brief illness. She lived in a newly purchased house, leaves her husband and two baby boys. Funeral at Christian church Sunday at 1 30 p m with Rev. McIntyre officiating. Burial in Ames cemetery. The family thanks friends and neighbors for their support.
