Philipps seventieth birthday last Saturday. Geo. Rosenfeld bought the Frank Sutter place and 160 acres owned by Jane west. Will Caruth and sister J W Lytle visited Illinois. Caruth may stay. Albin and Henry Persons come for Will’s illness. Ten-year anniversary party for L. G. and Mrs. Rosenfeld concluded with an oyster supper.

Glenn Peterson and Ruth Carlson were flower bearers. Guests then adjourned to the dining room for congratulations.
