Roland Iowa May 3 1897 announces candidacy for Supervisor subject to Republican primaries. Wyde Ads lists Johnson and date May 10 indicating bid for Board of Supervisors pending primary decision.
Fred C McCall announces his candidacy for Representative subject to Republican primaries in Nevada Iowa on June 7 1897. The notice appears in Ep Times dated June 1 1897. The filing refers to W J Veneman of Maxwell Iowa as related contact in the race.
