Young People's Union Convention in Milwaukee Debrief

Grand Lodge of Good Templars to Meet in Ames Aug 21
The Independent Order of Good Templars will hold its annual five day session in Ames starting August 21 with an expected attendance near 1,000, including about 100 from Des Moines. Training schools, officers elected, field day for youths, lectures by noted speakers, and a banquet are planned. The program outlines varied sessions, including a Jubilee Service and a long slate of district talks, with headquarters at the Davis House and meetings at the M E church.
