Crop Bulletin Reports Favorable Corn Growth and Hay Harvest
A week of strong heat and storms boosted corn growth and hay yields. Rain varied from two to three inches in some areas, but most of the state remained below normal. Spring wheat ripening, oats nearly all shocked, pastures good, berries abundant, and grapes promising.
