Colusa California man Joe Golobick writes that fifteen years of relentless rheumatism pain were ended by Electric Bitters. He reports the remedy also helped liver and kidney troubles and general debility, with a 50 cent price and satisfaction guarantee by L M Bosworth, druggist.
A hunter and two natives trap a king cobra beneath a basket. The first cobra fires arrows, then the second attacks the coop. the hunter shoots both barrels through basket openings, killing the snake as dust and leaves fly. Also notes praise for Chamberlains remedy and a railway fare notice.
The District Court of the county will hear on August 24 1904 the probate of Henry Barnes late of the county as named in his last will and testament. All interested persons must appear to show cause why the instrument should not be accepted as the decedent's will. Witness the court's seal at Nevada on July 7 1904.
Frank R. Smith is notified of a petition for divorce filed by Dora B. Smith in Story County Iowa District Court. The case cites non support and desertion as grounds. He must appear before noon on the second day of the next term to defend.
