Rose Shafer Holmes, about thirty, born in Benton County Iowa, wife of E Holmes, left three children Carl Gladys Harry and sister Mrs H Banks of Ames. Funeral follows June 27 1900 at 8 pm at Noble home. The notice lists marriage to Bert R Cory and a forthcoming move to northern state.
