Springlike Signs Amid Rural Chats From Gilbert
Parley Sheldon visits Gilbert on Tuesday while the Fincham family hosted guests over Sunday. Manford Hunter and Wayne visited from Goldfield. Stock remains in good shape for winter as mild weather continues. Creamery men await ice weather to test a new ice house. Wood sawing occupies farmers when machines run. Ufford of Hubbard Iowa stays in Gilbert for insurance work. Marshall Montgomery Carl Anderson and Neighbor Heggen serve as jurymen. Geo L Marshall of Superior Neb arrived due to his father’s illness. Is this spring, or wild fowl migration and green grass still to come. A good roads convention seems apt as roads are frozen in the morning and muddy at noon.
