A Dunta returned from the northern part of the state, Prof Turner of Mason City renewed acquaintances in Ames last week. Rev Byron Clark preached at amrar Hamilton county Tuesday night. Mrs Eunice Kingsbury went to Stillman Valley IL after her father’s death. Mr and Mrs W H Thurston returned Saturday from the northern part of the state. Attorney Underwood and Parley Sheldon did business in Des Moines Tuesday. Bert Henkle returned to La Porte City after holidays with his uncle M J Spohn and family. The Misses Wooldridge of the Des Moines Mandolin Club called at the Times office Monday while aiding the Y P S C E concert. A W Briggs of Fresno CA, old friend of the Times editor, visited Ames Tuesday. he is in real estate and doing missionary work for his land company. The friends of Robert Marshall, formerly in this county, will be glad to hear he and Mrs Marshall are well in St Joseph MO, where Mr Marshall runs a mercantile business. They invite old Ames friends to write to him at 2108 S with St, St Joseph MO.
