Local MISCELLANY notes social events and mishaps
Mrs. R. T. Sisson is reported seriously fit while Jerry Sexton learns of his son Wesley's safe arrival in Alabama. February brings mild weather and community notices including births baptisms and social happenings at Ames and Washington township. A California style shoe sale war and a Nevada Masonry anecdote enliven the column along with a January 30 1896 marriage and village commentary on unneighborly behavior.
