Peters Named Professor at Manitoba Agricultural College
W. H. Peters, graduate of Iowa State College in 1908, will serve as professor of Animal Husbandry at the Manitoba Agricultural College with starting pay of 1800 dollars, rising to 2500 later. Peters was Iowa's top performer on the 1907 International judging team and has been an assistant professor at Iowa State since 1908. The move adds three Iowa State graduates to Canada’s livestock leadership, while Iowa contributed many others to state colleges in six years. The Ames community was shocked by the death of Mrs. Nordstrom, whose remains will be taken to Grand Mound, Iowa for interment.
