Government Cheese Inspector Merle Lang and wife visited his cousin at the county farm on a inspection tour. Mrs. Chas. Smith and daughters from Kansas City stayed with the M. K. Smith family. Charley joined the Smiths’ visits in Nevada and Ames. Kate Arnold of Los Angeles spent Sunday with the G. A. Armstrong home. Ralph Hakes accompanied her to Laurens for a three week visit. Mrs. Wallace Gossard and son Arthur, with Mrs. Frank Brownlee, visited J. A. Campbell and family. Arthur Jones, back from St. Louis hotel work, planned to return to the exposition city soon. Mrs. Lytle Goble of Sioux City visited H. S. Goble, joined by daughter-in-law Ella Goble from Waterloo, then they traveled to Boone to visit Geo. Goble.
