Bankers Union settles Red Cross transfer dispute in Iowa
In Waverly Iowa on April 18 the dispute over transferring the Red Cross to the Bankers Union of the World is settled. The Bankers Union agrees to pay all legal liabilities and mortuary claims against the Red Cross up to 25000 prior to February 21 1902. Books return to the Red Cross president with inspection rights for the Bankers Union. A 25000 bond is posted for faithful performance. The Red Cross assets and related claims are approximately balanced. District court adjourns to June 10.
