Ada Cook and Har ley Stuckslager wed at the bride’s uncle and aunt’s home in Ames on Thursday Sept 7. Rev T M Rickman officiated in a gathering of relatives and close friends. The couple will reside near Belle Plain while deciding their permanent home with local well wishers hoping they stay in Ames.
The public schools opened with a full teaching staff and enrollment reached 356, with many rooms crowded. Notable renovations include a tinted first primary room, new floor and seats. Several faculty and guests visited fairs and cities during vacation, and an ice cream and melon sociable at Jones school benefits school religious services.
