E B Stevenson assistant superintendent of the North Western district of the American Sunday School Union will tour Story County for twenty days starting September 10th. Meetings will be held in each township to boost county wide Sunday School interest and raise funds for a full time worker to recruit and enroll children. The note cites Polk County’s growth from 8 to 110 Sunday Schools after funding a missionary, and Iowa’s union reports 112 new schools and nearly 4000 neglected children reached from March to August.
