Fatal double shooting in Glenwood romance dispute
At Glenwood on May 22 a quarrel between rival spouses culminated when W. C. Wallace shot John Clingersmith in a three room photographers gallery. Clingersmith died around 3:15 p.m. Wallace, held on self defense grounds, was jailed. The tale links harassment, jealousy, and an old marriage to the tragedy.
