Des Moines Iowa week ending May 26 1902 featured warm showery conditions with eight to ten degree temperature excess. Heavy rains damaged bridges and crops in the northeast while most areas saw good crop growth though some fields remain unplanted and replants needed. Grain and grass grew rapidly and corn cultivation resumes with crops in fair condition. Also notes paint supplies and local advertisements plus a western excursion sale by the Iowa Central railway with dates and rates.
