Field Day at Athletic Park Highlights and Races
The field day events at Athletic Park were held after weather delays with a strong turnout. Spencer led all competitors scoring 22 points as juniors and seniors trailed in points. numerous track and field events recorded Iowa state records or near records, with winners including Read, Tilden, Griffiths, and Spencer across sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws.
