Tile worker rescued after six foot trench collapse
Pritchard, while laying tile on Wm Acheson farm, was buried when trench sides caved in. His brother and Jos. Firth excavated him. he breathed a limited amount of air through tile piping and was released quickly. Master Chelsie Kennedy is recovering well from an unrelated condition. Local water works committee traveled to Nevada State Centre and Ames to review systems and plan Maxwell improvements.

Last Friday Thomas Bromley administrator of John McVey estate received a draft for 2250 dollars from Will Cook for McVey's death in an accident caused by a train. The Milwaukee road is commended for its liberal settlement, and Bromiley is praised for obtaining it without court action. Prof Reed visited Collins schools and reported they are in splendid order.

Camp meeting at fair grounds planned by Watchman group
