Mrs. Dr. Thomas Rice hosts Book and Basket club next Wednesday afternoon. The Woman's Home Missionary society of M. E. church meets with Mrs. Jennie Beyer next Friday March 24. The Nonpareil club report a regular meeting with a full program including Greeley on forests and Hibbard on Negro progress. The Civic Improvement society plans a general street cleanup Monday. Millionaire club hosts a dance in Smith's hall with a high attendance and varied performances. Lectures by A. E. Kepford on The White Plague set for Thursday in college chapel and Friday at the Engineering assembly hall. Numerous social events, entertainments, and club activities fill the week across Des Moines venues.

Story County Fair Dates Set for September 22 25
