Killed by the Cars Near Ames In Road Crossing Tragedy
Mr. Geo. Rosenfelt, an elder Story County settler living in Kelley, was killed when a north bound train hit his wagon at a crossing two miles south of town. The engine dragged him then stopped, his head crushed. One horse injured, the other disabled. Inquest held Friday found death by accident.
