Widow Upright Remembered For Eleven Sons In War

One of the best known women in this state is Mother Upright who furnished eleven sons to the army during the war. After the death of her first husband Mr Merchant she married M J Upright and lived with him for years. Last week Mr Upright died at his home near Rockford leaving the patriotic widow a widow again.
