Prof A V Storm has been visiting elderly residents while preparing for next year. Mrs Peter Dolan died this morning at her home at 7th and Oak. A new well drilling progresses with spectators. hole down about 85 feet. Prof C Hettlesater declined county clerk candidacy. Mr Dana declined county attorney. Anfin Ersland faces illness and lines up race despite obstacles.
The Maxwell Tribune notes a big turnout every evening for Tomlinson medicine show. Fakirs are mentioned as traveling performers. Miss Addie Reitz departs Friday for Paiora to visit friends. John Lyon of the IAC is a Sunday guest of Mrs. N G Richardson. Pastor Curtiss preached at Collins and Harsh and Lasell, baptizing 13 and organizing a 27 member class, then returned home by Monday morning.
Mrs M E Livingston of Ames visited with her sister Mrs F P Bryant on Tuesday on her way home from Des Moines. J A West of the Ames Times called Monday. He was bound for Council Bluffs for a short visit. Superintendent J F Reed visited our schools last Monday and found them in fair shape. A Minneapolis ruling last Monday in the United Norwegian Lutheran church vs Augsburg Seminary case makes the United church owner of the Luther Publishing house after a year in court.
