The estate leaves no heirs and the balance may escheat to the state unless a claimant proves a right to the funds. The administrator seeks court approval to hand the balance to the Boone County Clerk for the state school fund. Dated May 21, 1802. Also notices on rail excursion fares for Democratic convention and travel to Old Point Comfort and Minneapolis return trips. Fifth Annual Meeting of Story county Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance
The Fifth Annual Meeting of the Farmer's Mutual Fire and Lightning Insurance Association of Story county is set for Tuesday June 7 1892 at 10 o'clock a m at town hall Nevada for election of three directors and other business. D M Hayden will open with a discussion on how farmers can protect their property from lightning. Previous year losses stood at 9 dollars and there is still money from the last assessment. The association holds 445000 of property insured.
