The Traer Clipper urges farmers to boost home use of Iowa goods. It cites corn at twenty five to thirty cents due to feeders' demand, oats valued higher in Cedar Rapids area mills, and argues that local slaughtering and curing would keep produce at better prices. It notes Eastern farmers avoid freight and urges Iowa industries to be encouraged to consume domestically.
Tar for sale a dwelling house in Ames will take a span of horses in exchange. W. D. Lreas. Ma. T. J.
