Dairy School Advances Dairying Skills Across States
The first special dairying course ran last week with about 50 attendees from Ohio Illinois Minnesota Nebraska Kansas and both Dakotas. Topics included batter flavors dairy bacteriology chemistry and machinery with experts from Boston Iowa and Ontario aiding Prof. McKay and a scoring contest offering 300 in prizes. The second course starts this week for students with more experience focusing on butter cheese making stock feeding book-keeping and dairy chemistry.
