Obituary notes Eliza J. Hill Whitaker widow of Chas Whitaker died January 1 1895 at her Ames home after living in Stratford and Ames born July 26 1848 in Delafield Wisconsin. She served on the school board relief and Dorcas Society and was a faithful Episcopalian. Survived by her son Harry and relatives. funeral held at home conducted by Rev Hoyt. burial in Stratford.
