Tax Levy Favored for State Agricultural College Building
Senate ways and means committee recommends passage of Senator Fitchpatrick's bill imposing a one tenth of one mill tax for five years to fund land and buildings for the State Agricultural College. The college requests no direct appropriation if the tax passes, with possible partial withdrawal of its $150,000 building needs. University funding mirrors the same approach.
