Body of Drowned Passenger Recovered at Sea
The fishing smack Verena landed in Lowestoft with the body of Friedrichs Ernst of Magdeburg Prussia among drowned Elbe passengers. A mail bag marked Stockholm was found with the body which appeared with hands clenched on the chest and mouth wide open. The body was located forty five miles southeast of Lowestoft.
